2005 Icons

The year is up and those wanting can now download a zip file with the entire archive of 2005 icons. Or you can use the menu on the right to browse through the months.

To set as AIM buddy icon:
(1) open AIM
(2) click any icon you want
(3) when asked if you want to continue, click "OK"

To set as Windows XP user icon:
(1) right click and save the image where you can later find it
(2) open Start Menu
(3) click Control Panel
(4) open User Accounts
(5) click on the name of the account you want to change
(6) click on Change my picture
(7) click Browse for more pictures link
(8) find and select the icon you saved in the first step

To set as GAIM (GTK+) buddy icon:
(1) right click and save the image where you can later find it
(2) open Gaim
(3) click Tools then Accounts (or press ctrl+a) in the buddy list
(4) choose your AIM or MSN account and press modify
(5) select the icon in the "Buddy icon file" field
(6) click save

To set as Trillian buddy icon (version 2.x):
(1) right click and save the image where you can later find it
(2) open Trillian
(3) on the main buddy list, select File menu then Preferences
(4) click on Buddy Icons on the menu on the left
(5) select AIM from the Connections list, or check "Use one icon..."
(6) click the "Browse" button and select your saved icon
(7) click "OK" to save and exit the Preferences window

To set as Trillian buddy icon (version 3.x):
(1) right click and save the image where you can later find it
(2) open Trillian
(3) on the main buddy list, select Trillian menu then My Identity Information
(4) on the left side select the My Icons option
(5) check the I'd like to use an icon from my computer option near the top
(6) click the Browse for more pictures link under the list of icons and select your saved icon
(7) your icon should then show up in the list and you can click "Close" to save and exit the Preferences window
